Of course, SO in particular is a much larger site, and it is thus different, or math.SE is somewhat larger and is/feels "younger" but other than that I really do not see a huge a difference. I think many of the innovations make sense when suitably interpreted. This however makes it necessary to engage with the intent and not take some reading with which one diasgrees and then feel in a position to dismiss it. For example, I often wish people would write more detailed comments on this site. | |
