Jesse Railo

A PhD student in mathematics at the University of Jyväskylä (advised by Mikko Salo). My studies are related to geodesic ray transforms on Riemannian manifolds. See our research group page and some of my papers at arXiv.

I worked at the University of Helsinki in 2018, at the University of Oulu in 2014 - 2015, and at the Finnish Meteorological Institute in 2013 - 2014. I obtained MSc/BSc degrees in mathematics from the University of Tampere in 2014, and also worked there in 2012 - 2013. I was an exchange student at the University of Sheffield in 2011 - 2012.

I lectured part of the MOOC courses Introduction to Computational Inverse Problems (video series) and Introduction to Computational Tomography (video series) at the University of Helsinki in 2018.
