We don't have the concept of chat-only moderators. Owners of each room do have certain special privileges that can be used to handle most janitorial tasks that come up, such as moving chunks of a conversation that really went off topic elsewhere. As far as more chronic abusive behavior goes, chat flags are seen network wide, so any Math Overflow moderator currently in chat would see them.

@skullpatrol You're using "force" in a completely different context than I did. I sad "Are in force" meaning "Are in effect". I've revised my answer accordingly.

@skullpatrol Manishearth is a moderator on other sites, and is just doing his best to be of assistance as folks arrive with questions on how all of the new stuff works. The existing Math Overflow moderation team is very much in force, and very hard at work.

We're working on it, it is a network thing that I hope we can have resolved quite soon, but I don't have a definite ETA (yet) - I will update various questions here when I do. Please 'pardon the dust' for just a bit longer - sorry for the confusion.

I believe this is because you're seeing votes on deleted posts in your profile, which is not even considered on the other page. I'm pretty sure that's it but I'll confirm just to be sure.
