Wrong message for closing questions as off-topic
I just saw "This question does not appear to be about programming within the scope defined in the help center."

On the role of anonymity in a site dedicated to research-level mathematics
By the way -- I don't think that Lucia is an "obviously female name". -- On Zentralblatt MATH one finds the following presumably male mathematicians who have Lucia as their last name: Alfredo C. Lucia, Angelo Lucia, David J. Lucia, Julio J. Lucia, Marcello Lucia, Umberto Lucia.

Big list of feature requests and suggestions for a fantasy MO 3.0
A list of all rate limits on StackExchange sites can be found at meta.stackexchange.com/questions/164899/… -- though I don't know which of these apply to MO as well.

What kind of soft questions are acceptable?
I think you should rather try math.stackexchange.com. -- While on this site occasionally soft questions are welcomed, it is probably not advisable for a new user to start with a soft question, or even to ask several such questions in quick succession.

Do your own homework
I think it is hard to tell with what intention a contest-type question is posted -- it may show interest in mathematics as you say, but it may also be an attempt to cheat in some competition, or whatever else. -- We can't read minds, in the end.

What is the source of this strange title strike?
Replaced "bug" tag by "support", since this is not a bug. Also removed the filler text.

@Emil: Minor correction: the limit is actually 600 characters.

@Asaf: Of course as everything you do, also what you post on MathOverflow contributes to how people see you. But what the points on this site measure is just a rough expression of how valuable people find your contributions to this site, and not more.

Yes, that's what I meant.

Frequently asked questions about tagging on MathOverflow
I see. -- Indeed there is a notable difference between MO tags and the MSC -- among the former there is no hierarchy. Maybe this difference is worth to be mentioned explictly.

Frequently asked questions about tagging on MathOverflow
Well -- isn't all this more or less self-evident for someone who cares enough to look what tags are there and how other questions are tagged? -- And will someone who doesn't care read such advice at all? -- I'm not sure.
