A blog for MathOverflow
What does a "+1" here mean -- is it "yes, if I find time, it would be nice to look once in a while whether someone posts something interesting there" or rather "yes, I will certainly be a regular active contributor"? -- I think if the purpose of this poll is to figure out whether there is sufficient interest in such blog, this makes a notable difference -- doesn't it?

A blog for MathOverflow
@quid: I just checked -- there are various free mathoverflow domains -- e.g. mathoverflow.info, mathoverflow.eu, mathoverflow.de, mathoverflow.co, ... .

Is it a problem if I post a lot of questions?
@SébastienPalcoux: No, I don't think so. -- I think a "good" question is one which an expert in the respective field finds interesting. -- There are lots and lots of questions nobody has a clue how to solve, but from whose solutions one cannot expect to learn anything interesting (stupid example: "Is the number of prime factors of $10^{10^{100}}+1$ odd or even?"). In mathematics (and in sciences in general), the art of asking a good question is not to find a hard question, but to find one whose answer gives interesting new insights.

Is it a problem if I post a lot of questions?
@SébastienPalcoux: The difference is that an answer which an expert can easily give may still be very valuable for the person who has asked the question.

MathOverflow's Facebook page
The first thing I see when I click on the link you provide is a request to register at Facebook, like always with Facebook links. I don't like this -- in my opinion, reading a webpage should be possible without getting requests to register, to subscribe or to buy something.

Why can't I accept two answers to the same question simultaneously?
"accpet" -> "accept", 5 times (feel free to change back if you tried to establish the former spelling as the correct one ...)

Change of colors
On my screen, the recognizability of both background colors depends mostly on the angle under which I look at the screen -- viewed under a low angle, neither of them can be distinguished easily from the white background, and viewed under a right angle, both of them can.

Improving citations of MathOverflow posts
Are there actual cases of where cited MO posts were deleted? -- I'd doubt there are many.

Could I have some help improving a history-overview post?
The point is that the question you link to asks people essentially to write a book for you. -- This is asking far too much. A question suitable for MO can usually be answered in at most one or two pages of text. Therefore I suggest you to formulate your question in such a way that it allows brief, concise answers.

Time zone in MathOverflow public dumps?
I think likely it is UTC, as the other timings in MO. -- At least everything else would seem somewhat strange ... .

Suitability on MO of question on teaching engineers mathematical thinking skills
@JW: As far as I can tell, questions which have a definite answer are actually "judged largely on their own merits". -- But regarding soft questions, there is the perceived risk that if they are welcomed too much, more and more of them will be asked, and they will eventually dominate the site and the level will decrease. Mathematicians usually do like occasional good soft questions, but not too many.
