I seem to no longer have version B, which is too bad because I really don't like version A.

With the new format it seems to default to active questions and I don't even see how to find new questions. But my bookmark to the mathoverflow.net/questions seems to overcome this for now

I don't have a strong opinion on this but one can imagine if the OP objected, they could roll back the changes or say something in the comments.

If I google math stackexchange then mathoverflow is in the first page of results. So maybe people no stackexchange has lots of question/answer sites and tries to google one doing math and runs in to both MSE and MO.

I think option 2 is suggesting to the OP that MSE might be a better fit for the question but leaving it up to the OP. It doesn't actually migrate the question and many people who use MO don't use MSE and so might not feel comfortable doing an actual migration.

@AsafKaragila, if I log out and view the site then I see comments on questions other than my own. I am not sure how to do incognito mode. I'll try another browser
