I have some formal training in Physics (i.e. a PhD), and consequently, in addition to the little amount of Physics I know, I also know a tiny bit of Mathematics, but certainly no research-level Mathematics (cf. the scope of Math Overflow (https://mathoverflow.net/tour)). While I understand that the distinction is somewhat arbitrary, based on my limited understanding of the subject, as I much as I want to contribute, it is unlikely that I can be of any help to any professional mathematician.

But of course, the other way round is definitely possible, assuming I can pitch in with an occasional question that meets the scope of this site, and may interest any professional mathematician. That's why I am here, mostly seeking Math allies for an occasional theoretical Physics problem.
