Shouldn't we have migration to stats.SE at the very least? I've seen mentioned that physics.SE is an option, but this seems less urgent, and I've already seen a couple of questions that could/should have been there. For example http://mathoverflow.net/questions/135079/frechet-mean-of-multiple-curves - which is being voted to close with a custom reason that it should go to stats.SE.
