Is there any way to get back the option to sort answers in newest to oldest order?

Apparently this question as previously posed does not meet the quality standards, so I am adding an additional few sentences to do, well, I don't know exactly what. It seems to me that the original question, above, is a perfectly nice, rather succinct question, but I guess the new system doesn't like that. So, here is some additional verbiage so as to appease the StackExchange gods.
