Why was a simple, short and straightforward question asking for a simple illustrative example of the usefulness of HoTT closed?

$\begingroup$ I assume you mean this question: Is there a simple example of why HoTT is useful? (Which is in the reopen review queue at the moment.) I have added the tags (specfic-question) and (closed-questions) - I think they are both suitable here. But including a link to the question is IMO rather important, when asking on meta about the reasons for closure. $\endgroup$ Sep 22 at 3:43

$\begingroup$ Several comments below the question explain why. Your reaction to these explanations/criticisms were like: "you are being exceedingly pedantic" or "your criticisms don't apply". You don't seem to really want to understand the "why". $\endgroup$
