So I asked this question today:

Has anyone studied the PDE generalization of Teichmuller Space?

If I could criticize it probably is too general of a question and would benefit from restricted scope (maybe just harmonic or conformal maps). I could also just be objectively better at PDEs and not have to ask about basic definitions in the comments.

Besides that I was curious if there were any other good reasons for the downvote?

I posted what I considered to be a well formulated albeit very general question. I imagined it’d get more positive traction.

$\begingroup$ One downvote is in general nothing to worry about -- perhaps someone just clicked by accident and didn't notice. If there is really something 'wrong' with a question, there will be more downvotes and / or close votes, and at least if the issues are not obvious also comments. $\endgroup$
